What is OT?

Occupation is a confusing term often associated with work or employment. “Occupations” can be defined as the everyday activities that occupy our time including eating, dressing, playing and learning for children.

Occupational therapists (OT) help children improve the skills they need for these activities.

OT’s are trained to assess how a child’s physical skills, cognitive abilities and sensory processing may impact their occupations.
